Spokane East Stake's 2025 Service Project for JustServe, 9/11 Day of Service
We cleaned and beautified cemeteries and parks in our area. Over 500 volunteers came together on September 6th to make this happen. Thank you to everyone who participated in the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance! Below are the locations and a brief summary of each project. Saltese Cemetery

End-of-summer cleanup: pinecones and needles raked, grounds refreshed.
Mica Cemetery
About 1 mile south of the town of Mica, WA
On the west side of Highway 27
Major overgrowth cleared, headstones cleaned, and sign repainted.
Chester Cemetery

Grounds cleaned, pinecones picked, headstones and bench restored.
Valley Mission Park & Edgecliff Park

Edgecliff
Park: 800 S Park Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99216
Play area re-barked and park grounds improved. Edgecliff Park project was reassigned to Valley Mission Park.
